Sue Starcken graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001. She went on to obtain her Honours from there in 2003, a Post Graduate Diploma in 2004 and completed a Masters Degree in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Western Australia in 2008. During these years she wrote essays for publications, lectured, exhibited in seventeen group shows, won three print awards and continued honing her extraordinary printmaking skills.
