These symbols are then repeatedly reconfigured in paintings to form loose or suggestive narratives and stories. It was a search for my fathers paintings that he had left in a small town in Mexico before he passed away that resulted in an artistic enquiry into my identity and my home. Self portraiture and the memories of a landscape are used to explore this enquiry into identity, meaning and home.
