Matthew will be showing a new body of scraperboard text works in our front entry room.

These new works will have a variety of sizes and text lengths, including several diptyches. Words and phrases are drawn from the everyday, and will evoke many memories for the viewer. They represent a certain time, a certain place and culture.

Matthew has had an incredibly busy year. He currently has a solo show on display with Diane Tanzer Gallery, who now represents him in Melbourne. Coming up in September he will be showing a sizeable body of work at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, as part of their Making it new: Focus on Australian Art.   Also upcoming this year is an exhibition at Linden Gallery in Melbourne titled Persuasion Equation.
